The AB-100 Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect Full Course is a free video course that prepares you for the Microsoft AB-100 exam, Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect Expert. It is for architects who need to turn business requirements into AI agent solutions that are planned, costed, tested, secured and governed properly.

This guide explains what the 12 videos cover and how to study them from the AB-100 course page.

Who this course is for

AB-100 is an Expert level exam, and the course is written from the business solutions architect’s point of view. It suits:

  • Solution architects and AI architects who design AI-powered business solutions for customers or internal teams.
  • Enterprise architects who must fit AI agents into an existing landscape of data, identity, security and governance.
  • Cloud and Microsoft 365 professionals moving into architecture roles, who already know the platforms and now need the design thinking behind agentic AI.

You do not need to be a developer. The course is about design decisions, not code.

What you will learn

The course follows one clear line of thought: business requirements, then AI strategy, then agent design, then extensibility and orchestration, then testing and ALM, and finally security and governance. The 12 videos group into six themes.

1. Foundations of agentic AI business solutions

Introduction to agentic AI business solutions sets the vocabulary for the rest of the course. Agentic AI changes how a business solution behaves, so you need a shared picture of what an agent is before you design one.

2. Requirements and AI strategy

Analyze requirements for AI-powered business solutions and Design overall AI strategy for business solutions teach you to start from the business problem, not the technology. At 51 minutes, the strategy video is the longest in the course, which tells you how much weight this design stage carries.

3. Costs and benefits

Evaluate costs and benefits of AI solutions covers how to weigh an AI solution in business terms, including ROI and total cost of ownership (TCO). It gives you the language to justify a design to budget holders.

4. Designing agents and extending them

Design AI agents for business solutions and Design extensibility of AI solutions move into the solution itself. The course works with concepts such as grounding, Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, MCP, multi-agent architectures, enterprise data and custom connectors.

5. Prebuilt agents, monitoring and testing

Orchestrate configuration of prebuilt agents and apps, Monitor, analyze, and tune AI agents and Manage testing AI-powered business solutions cover what happens after the design is agreed. They show how an architect plans for quality after go-live.

6. ALM, responsible AI and governance

Design ALM process for AI-powered business solutions and Design responsible AI security, governance, risk management, and compliance close the course. They cover application lifecycle management, identity, DLP, governance and responsible AI, the topics that decide whether a solution is allowed into production at all.

How the course is organised

  • 12 videos, about 6.9 hours in total, free on YouTube.
  • A short opening video (about 2 minutes) introduces the course, followed by 11 main lessons.
  • Most lessons run between 23 and 51 minutes, so each one is a solid study session on its own.
  • The order follows the architect’s journey: requirements, strategy, cost, design, extensibility, orchestration, monitoring, testing, ALM and governance.

The course is a lecture-style series focused on design decisions. There is no separate hands-on lab guide, practice simulation or mock exam for this course on Skills Pragati at the moment, so the videos are the main study material. You can watch the full series as a YouTube playlist.

How to study it step by step

  1. Watch the opening video first. It is only two minutes and sets out the scope of the course.
  2. Do the first three lessons in one week. Introduction, requirements and strategy belong together. Take notes on how a business need is turned into an AI strategy.
  3. Study cost and benefit on its own. After Evaluate costs and benefits of AI solutions, write a one-page ROI and TCO summary for a solution you know from work. Explaining it in your own words is the best test.
  4. Group the design lessons. Watch Design AI agents, Design extensibility and Orchestrate configuration of prebuilt agents and apps together, and sketch a simple architecture for one agent as you go.
  5. Treat operations as a block. Monitoring, tuning and testing are easier to remember as one process: build, test, watch, improve.
  6. Finish with ALM and governance. These two lessons tie everything together. Note every security, identity and compliance control mentioned and where it fits in your sketch.
  7. Revise by theme. Before the exam, rewatch the longest lessons (strategy, prebuilt agents and ALM) at a faster speed and check your notes against them.

How it helps with the AB-100 exam

The course is built for AB-100: Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect Expert. Each main lesson is named after an area of the architect’s work: analysing requirements, designing the AI strategy, evaluating costs and benefits, designing agents and extensibility, orchestrating prebuilt agents and apps, monitoring and tuning, testing, ALM, and responsible AI with security, governance, risk management and compliance.

Following the lessons in order gives you a structured walk through those areas, so you can see where your knowledge is strong and where you need more reading. Always check Microsoft’s official exam page for the current skills outline before you book.

If you are earlier in your Copilot journey, the AB-620 Copilot Studio course shows how an agent solution is actually built, and the AB-731 AI Transformation Leader course covers AI strategy and adoption from the leader’s side.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AB-100 course free?

Yes. All 12 videos are free to watch on YouTube, and you can follow them in order from the AB-100 course page on Skills Pragati.

How long does the AB-100 course take?

The videos add up to about 6.9 hours. With note-taking and revision, most learners can spread it over four to six weeks at two lessons a week.

Is there a mock exam or hands-on lab for AB-100?

Not at the moment. This course is a video series without a lab guide, practice simulation or mock exam on Skills Pragati, so plan to make your own notes and summaries as you watch.

Do I need to be a developer for AB-100?

No. The course takes the business solutions architect’s view: requirements, strategy, cost, design, testing, ALM and governance. Knowing Microsoft 365, Copilot or Azure helps, but the focus is on design decisions rather than writing code.
